Getting lost isn’t always a bad thing. On our way to Bracci Fencing, we somehow missed the turn off Atlantic for Utica and before you know it we were in Brownsville (we think). This beautiful building at the corner of Miller and Liberty was the highlight of the detour. Most recently it has been a church–and some of the windows bear that out–but it almost looks like it could havebeen an armory to us. Can anyone provide any history on it? GMAP

Is this building in East New York or Brownsville? Also, where is the 75th precinct currently located?
The building is in East New York NOT Brownsville. It was formerly the 75th Precinct. Its replacement is on Sutter Avenue near Shepherd Avenue.

I think it’s probably an old police station. There is a similar “fort like” station in Bushwick.
