Here’s a roundup of some of our favorite Instagram photos of historic architecture in Brooklyn.

They represent some of the best-loved styles of the 19th and 20th centuries, both residential and commercial. You’ll see everything from Greek Revival brick townhouses in Brooklyn Heights to a grand Renaissance Revival commercial building in Greenpoint.

The latter is 144 Franklin Street, better known as the Mechanics and Traders Bank of Brooklyn. (Longtime readers will recognize it as the building whose image once graced the top of this website’s home page.)
