Closing Bell: Raise the Roof Benefit

EcoStation:NY is holding a benefit Friday, Aug. 10 from 7 to midnight to raise $5,000 for its youth empowerment initiatives. The event will “celebrate local food and drink, music, art and agriculture.” Activities include a beekeeping and farm-in-the-sky tour, a night-time organic produce market, an art show with photography by Katarzyna Gawin, farm-inspired hors d’oeuvres and cocktails, a jam band and special guest Angel Vera of community group Make the Road. The party takes place at Brooklyn Fire Proof East at 119 Ingraham Street in Bushwick. $10 suggested donation.
