Their renovation project won’t start for a few months but they want to secure the contractor with a down payment.
Their renovation project won’t start for a few months but they want to secure the contractor with a down payment. They want to be fair but also sensible and not give too large of a percentage in advance. What percentage of their total project budget should they plan on paying before work begins?
