That Clinton Hill Victorian sounds a lot like one that corcoran was selling last year (I believe 86 Cambridge Place). It was originally listed at about 1.8M and then it was lowered to 1.6M. Wonder if it is a flip.

is nowhere near the A train
and apparently has a musical chimney
Who are these people?
The $895 Carroll Gardens faces Gowanus Houses – and that is the reason under $1m – am sure would cost $250k more on other side of block.
On other hand – block is pretty quiet- houses pretty well kept and probably quite neighborly.
