Louise Peabody

Louise Peabody’s paintings and drawings have been featured in solo and group exhibitions in galleries and cultural institutions including the Long Island Museum in Stonybrook, New York, the Payson Whitney Gallery of the University of New England, the Portland Museum of Art, Portland, Maine, the Smith College Museum and Alumnae Gallery, and the Peter Marcelle Gallery, Southampton, New York. In New York City, her work has been exhibited at the Woodward Gallery, the Caelum Gallery, the Atlantic Gallery, the Century Association,the National Arts Club and The United Nations.

In addition,Peabody’s paintings are in the permanent collections of many public and private collections, including the Portland Museum of Art and the University of New England, Portland, Maine: the Century Association and the National Arts Club, New York City: the Butler Institute of American Art in Youngstown, Ohio, and the Smith College Museum of Art, Northampton, MA.
