We strive to build specific structures that serve as an elegant background for everyday living and working. We design rooms with a privacy of enclosure, and the ability to expand and combine with other rooms. We create flexible and spacious interiors with intimate relationship to outdoors, sunlight, and view. Preference is given to the tone and texture of natural materials, joining unique handcrafted details with more highly finished elements.

Located in Brooklyn, NY since 2004, our built work includes both new houses and extensive interior renovations, apartment combinations, townhouse extensions and ‘rooftop’ additions, commercial and retail spaces. As a small firm, the partners maintain direct involvement with each project from concept to completion.
