Atlas, on Essex off Linden Blvd. they look at the contents and charge accordingly. We filled up the back of our truck with old tiles and other demo debris from a bathroom and it cost around $100. MUCH cheaper than getting a dumpster and much quicker than putting tiny amounts (tile is heavy) in bags for months and hoping the sani workers would take it. http://www.atlasrolloff.com/disposal.asp
Commonly asked question here. The reality is that there is no longer any DSNY facility. You have to go to a private transfer station or put it out a little at a time.
