The NYS Department of Transportation is beginning a project to rehabilitate the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway between Atlantic Avenue and Sands Street. This combined Public Information Session and Scoping Meeting will provide the public with information included in the Draft Scoping Document. NYSDOT personnel will be available to answer questions concerning the project.
Today. Session One: 3-6 p.m. Session Two: 7-10 p.m. Polytechnic Institute of NYU in the Pfizer Auditorium (Dibner Building), 5 MetroTech Center.

Public Hearing on Carroll Gardens/Columbia Street Rezoning
The Department of City Planning’s proposed plan is to contextually rezone neighborhoods of Carroll Gardens and Columbia Street. The plan consists of height limits that would preserve the existing built character while allowing for new development and modest expansions at an appropriate height and scale.

Pratt Area Community Council’s Homeowner and Homebuyer Fair
PACC’s Homeowner/Homebuyer Night is a great opportunity to obtain information on affordable homes, grants for purchase and closing costs, foreclosure prevention, and more. Refreshments will be served.
