  1. Nothing wrong with calling it digital imaging, rather than photography.

BTW, a master printer could achieve somewhat similar results in the darkroom (although it’d be way beyond my level of skill).

  2. DIBS: I understand your point, he is a sell-out/fraud and like I said before, most American’s are also. He should be ashamed of himself, but in the end, it is all about the MONEY and right now he is looking for his cabin in some far away place and not near AY.

  3. witchdoctor, I agree, but the $3MM was not just for the apartment. If you read the article, it was for him to abandon DDDB and, essentially, to never speak about that cause again. If he weren’t a fraud he’d be outraged by them trying to buy him. That’s my point. He’s a fraud with regard to his “passionate” position on DDB.

Not that i care, i’m all for AY. But DG has caused it to be an utter disaster and much more costly, downsized, etc. brooklyn should sue him.

  4. “I suspect was his objective all along”

I totally agree with Dave on this point. And I’m not a hater. Truth be told, I have very little opinion of AY one way or the other.

  5. “I am all for digital manipulation but it stops being photography at some point. should have a different name”

Thanks, wasder. I agree. From my very minimized window here at work, however, it looks like a great shot of a very beautiful church, lol.

BTW, I have your t-shirt with me to give to you tonight at Loco.

  6. DIBS: don’t be a hater because Mr. Develop Don’t Destroy sold out. That is the American way and really, if someone gave me $3M for my house, I might just do the exact same thing.

  7. antidope, given the costs to Brooklyn over this and what I suspect was his objective all along, he’s in the same category as Madoff. He’s a slime bag of the highest order. I just hope some other deranged DDDB member who’s actually passionate about their cause doesn’t cause him bidily harm 😉
