Donate Winter Wear and Get Free Treats in Brooklyn Heights This Weekend

Helping out a Brooklynite in need this holiday season is as easy as taking a stroll down Montague Street.

In a new program sponsored by the Montague Street Business Improvement District, Brooklyn Heights’ charming Montague Street stretch will be lined with boxes labeled DROP for passerby to drop lightly used hats, gloves and scarves to be donated to shelters, nonprofits and other neighbors in need.

To bring in donations, local restaurants and businesses on Montague Street will be offering generous discounts, free treats and special promotions beginning on Small Business Saturday, November 28.
