Today’s condo is an attractive one-bedroom in Baltic Tower, a condo building at 378 Baltic Street in Carroll Gardens. (Some might say Boerum Hill or Cobble Hill — the listing has it as the latter.)

It’s on the ninth floor with a bunch of south-facing windows and a sliding glass door, so views and light are a big plus here — not to mention the small balcony where the sliding glass door leads.

The layout is basic and sensible. You’ve got a good-sized living/dining room, a kitchen and bedroom of moderate size, and a single bathroom. The kitchen is quite nice, with a white Caesarstone countertop and light-wood cabinets, and it looks to be pretty recent.

There are no built-in closets in the bedroom, but there’s a nook with a unit set within; presumably that comes with the place. There’s also no bathroom entrance from the bedroom, calling for a detour through the living room, but that’s a minor quibble.

Less of a minor quibble for some may be the location: while it’s near Smith Street and the F and G trains at Bergen Street, it’s even closer to the Gowanus Houses, across Hoyt Street.

The building offers a gym, a bike room and laundry.

Listed by Douglas Elliman brokers Kenneth Goldstein and William Hendrickson, the condo is listed for $660,000, a $15,000 drop from the initial June ask of $675,000. If the size of the unit given in the listing is correct (609 square feet), it clocks in at more than $1,000 a square foot.

The fees are quite low, thanks in part to a 421-a tax abatement — $334 a month for maintenance and taxes.

What do you think of the place? Think it will move at that price?
