A tipster sent us photos of a new coffee shop on Fulton Street in Clinton Hill called Lunitas, which will serve light fare and sell handmade goods and clothing. The cute spot at 1039A Fulton currently offers baked goods and drinks, but they’ll soon have sandwiches and salads, according to our tipster.

As you walk in, there’s seating with booths and a coffee bar towards the rear of the shop, followed by a separate room that’s being renovated into a retail space. A quick glance at Lunitas’ website shows that they’ll sell “handmade and vintage goods for little ones.” The owners also plan to host children’s story time and other kid-oriented events in the retail area, said our tipster.

  1. We’re thrilled to join the Fulton Street community and thank you for the mention!! Our menu will be expanding over the next couple of weeks so be sure to stop by. We’ll also be adding items to the shop and events to the calendar!
Be sure to come by this Saturday afternoon from 12-3 pm for our Holiday party.
We too are fans of The Outpost and are confident that the neighborhood has enough love to go around:-) We’re excited to provide another child and family friendly option to the neighborhood.

  2. I love Outpost, but I agree that there’s room for another coffee place, especially since it’s near so many schools. Outpost can get really crowded, and this new place seems to want to cater to families, given that dedicated space in the back. I’m wondering if there’s a place to keep strollers–
