Five Three-Story Apartment Buildings Coming to Broadway in Bushwick

An unknown developer is planning five separate three-story apartment buildings for two unused lots at the corner of Van Buren Street and Broadway in Bushwick. New building permits have been filed for three-story, three-unit buildings at 575, 577, 579, 581 and 583 Van Buren. These addresses don’t actually exist yet, but it looks like the developer plans to combine two lots at 1211 and 1213 Broadway for the new development. The buildings range in size from 6,112 square feet to 7,204 square feet. Broadway Van Buren Properties LLC purchased both properties in late August for $1,625,000, according to PropertyShark. The property at 1213 is a large, vacant corner lot, and 1211 houses a run-down one-story building.
