Domino, Greenpoint Hearings Set for August

The public process on both the Domino development and Greenpoint Landing and 77 Commercial Street continues to roll along. A letter went out yesterday from Community Board One to its members announcing the dates for upcoming public hearings and community board meetings on all three projects. The projects are expected to receive their certifications and the official land-use review process to begin at these hearings. (Certification means the application is complete and land use review can begin.) The date for the Greenpoint developments is August 13. A hearing on the Domino project is scheduled for August 20. They will take place at the Automotive High School at 6:30 pm. The Domino and Greenpoint Landing projects are massive with the potential to significantly change their surrounding neighborhoods.
