The Department of Transportation is floating an idea to turn a bit of unused space at the intersection of Broadway and Bedford Avenue in South Williamsburg into a public plaza and green space, DNAinfo reported. The proposal was discussed Monday at a town hall meeting at the Williamsburg Arts and Historical Center, originally the Kings County Savings Bank Building, above right and below, and will be on the agenda at tonight’s Community Board One meeting at 6:30 pm at 435 Graham Avenue.
