Just Add Water: Hipster Swimming Hole Coming Along

The renovated McCarren Park pool is scheduled to reopen to the public in about 8 months, and at this point there’s plenty of visible progress on the $50 million overhaul of the massive WPA-era facility. Ladders have been installed, and new canopies have been put on the bath house. Workers are also landscaping the area around the pool.
