As for Texas, I don’t know if I could move to a state that just approved textbooks that don’t mention evolution, along with some other far right notions of science and history. They are going to be turning out some dumb kids who will not be able to function in the 21st century.

at work we get textbooks from all over the country. i was shocked at first that some areas of the country use different textbooks, i honestly thought it was all the same. nope. there is a history/sociology textbook last year, from TEXAS (actually one of the biggest states that do textbooks), that listed homosexuality in a teeeny tiny lesson right under drug addiction. the topic of the unit? something like “society’s ills”. i have this somewhere at work, i have to find it in case you dont believe me. they’re history of the civil rights movement was as you could probably believe, quite brief. i know you and i dont normally get along, but i just had to share that.

  4. Yup…first we hook ’em with the mysterious acronym, then wow ’em with the sight of the actual glitter. I never took marketing 101, but I think I’m on to something here!

  5. “CobbleSnaps Productions Super Secret Special Glitter”

Cobble we oughtta shorten that to CSP S3 G…I’ll get on the process of trademarking CSPS3G in the morning 🙂

  6. “Be the first on your block to own shares of CobbleSnaps Productions Super Secret Special Glitter. Never be without Glitter EVER AGAIN! ; )”

    HAHAHAHA!

That’s right…get in on the bottom floor before we raise prices. It’s already selling like hotcakes and we are considering going IPO within the next 6 months. Once you see our stock soaring on the ticker, you’ll kick yourself that you didn’t buy now!
