  1. The What purposefully committed blogocide because he was bored but still posts here under another name. StevieB is beginning to sound a little like him too.

    I like fridge boxes too, or at least I did when I was smaller. If I get one, I’ll save it for you, Rob.

  2. HR;

    Again I’ll tell you that you are not talking to some kid. I’ve been in the market for over 25 years, and done quite alright for myself, thank you. I’ve got enough victories and defeats to have some perspective on the matter. I don’t need you to tell me what I don’t realize about the Street.

    Secondly, you did more then “give your two cents”. I’m in sales, and when I hear a guy say “If you would follow my advice”, I know a pitch: a guy trying to build a following.

    Thirdly, your whole premise is full of it. You’re trying to make me believe that moving in and out of the market doesn’t involve substantial transaction costs? Who keeps Wall St. busier: you, who constantly buy and sell stocks, or me, who buys and holds? What do you think I was born yesterday?

    Finally, you still missed the most important point: to advise anyone about portfolio allocation without knowing their risk tolerance and age shows me that you have a lack of experience in investing.

    Post all you damn please, and I’ll call a snake oil salesman when I see one.

  3. those pro’s prefer clients to be in constant do-no-thinking-and-keep-head-in-hole-in-ground mode. but dont trust yourself to deciding this financial stuff if one doesn’t educate self onto this stuff beforehand.

    outta here.

  4. Gets me to thinkin…it may be time to head over to Fairway and get the fixins I need to make my own super yummy shrimp fried rice. Guess where I’ll be on Sunday!
