I think they look great and add a lot to the area.
pfa, they are not allowed under building code. They did plant in other existing pits in the area as per ZR. That’s the reason for the flip of the entrance and garage door on 322 23rd St.
even with the garages, there’s still space enough for trees. how ’bout putting in some? make it look, you know, less de-humanizing?
ick. it looks like an for cosmetic dental teeth whitening.
i agree with snappy, it will look better when it gets a little grayer.
those entranceways and garage doors? are totally primed for tagging. you just know someone is gonna walk by and tag it up. dont leave your spray paints unattended if you live there or youll learn the hardway that people suck!
*rob*
9 out of the 11 are occupied when last I strolled by. One had to have the garage door and entrance door flipped (doh!).
No need to rant again about how much I dislike these, built terribly, etc.
But I agree that a different color choice, either on all the town houses, or perhaps every other one, would have made this look better. Stucco is already flaking off on a few of the units and has green moss appearing on the back due to the lack of sun. And when the MDF starts to flake around the front doors, that ought to add a touch of class to the buildings.
And man do you get a great view of the master bedrooms from Battle Hill.
Enjoy.
I like the rhythm of the upper windows but would like to see some color on the street level part of the facade. Are those garage and entry doors? They’d be nice painted some darker color.
Pretty cool looking project says I.
I think it’d look better gray! But yes, nice as is.
all controversies aside, that is a very nice looking facade IMO. Let’s see how long it will take for all that white to start going gray.
