This week, we're taking a look six months back to check on four of our featured listings, including a single-family home in Bay Ridge and studio co-op in Prospect Heights.
This week's top listings featured some modern dwellings, some very skinny houses and a 19th-century carriage house in Brooklyn Heights.
The top listings this week leaned towards flips and homes that might need a little love from the right owner.
Located in Prospect Heights, this studio co-op is attractive and newly renovated, with high ceilings and some nice prewar detailing.
All of these apartments are located just blocks (if not directly across the street) from Brooklyn greatest amenity: Prospect Park. The location is ideal for getting down with nature daily, taking in arts and culture at the museum or library, and frequent stops at the farmers market.
We’ve liked all the apartments we’ve seen at 125 Eastern Parkway, and this 1,300-square-foot three-bedroom is no exception. Although it lacks some of the prewar-iness that most of the units in the building have in spades, it’s been tastefully renovated with a pleasing modern sensibility (which benefits from the high ceilings). The big cross to bear on this one is the fact that it’s on the ground floor. How big a deal will this be when it comes to trying to fetch the asking price of $929,000.
