The history of the NE&WS companies started in the early 1990’s when European engineer, Edward K. Nowakowski, created NE&WS, Inc - a wood stairs and railing design and manufacturing company. A few years later the success of wooden products and the increasing demand for combination of metal-wood stairs and railing system led to the creation of the NE&WS Metal Works, Inc – a sister ornamental metal fabrication company. Using a full spectrum of materials along with innovative processes in manufacturing woodwork and metalwork has improved the demand for our products, and brought our company to the forefront of the marketplace.

With over 30 years of experience and a supportive team of selected European engineers, technicians and craftsmen, Edward K. Nowakowski has developed a unique stair and railing building technology. NE&WS companies are the only ones capable of manufacturing a large variety of custom built stairs and railing projects on the market of private and commercial estates. Through the years, our two sister companies have mastered proficiency in offering the best quality products and service, gaining the trust of architects, contractors and homeowners.
