Under the Radar: Quincy Street Brownstone
Walking around on foot can be a great way to find listings from local brokers who don’t always show up in the NY Times. Walking around on foot can be a great way to find listings from local brokers who don’t always show up in the NY Times. For example, on our Sunday morning jaunt, we spotted this listing from broker L. Nelson & Associates that could hold promise. The four-story brownstone is located at 146 Quincy Street and is part of a stretch of decent houses. And, besides the vinyl windows, it appears to be in solid shape. We can’t place calls about this stuff from work, but sure would be interested to hear what the asking price is if anyone’s in the mood for a little legwork! The number at L. Nelson & Associates is 718-923-1741.
Definitely, Naomi. Take a photo of the house and a close-up of the for sale sign and we’ll post it. Thanks.
I see several for sale signs, including 17st, bet PPW & 8. Typically a no-name broker. There are a few brokers on PPW and 7 ave bet 15 & 17 with no web presence.
There are 2 under-the-radar houses near me in Greenpoint, one of which is a beautiful brick multifamily on Gurnesey, a really nice, tree-lined street (never mind the other one– vinyl-o-rama.) I always wonder how many other houses are out there that we don’t see in the Times. Brownstoner, would you be willing to post if we send you pics and realtor info? It would be great to know about more of these. (I’m guessing that they go for way less than their Corcoran counterparts.)
Anonymous 10:56 am: How much are those houses on 15th street going for?
MasseyKnakal has 808 Quincy listed for
$635K – nice looking 4 story large corner house.
Further east in Bed-Stuy – that could be a factor.
Oh, they certainly do, but so far underneath the radar…
i don’t want to distress you but if all calls are recorded at yr job I wouldn’t be so suure that they don’t also monitor computer use.
‘Tis a sad fact. All calls are recorded at our humble place of work and you’d be amazed how sound travels over those cubicle walls!
LOL!!!
You cant place calls from work but you can monitor/edit/build an award-winning website. Too funny.
