208 Grand Street Hits the Market
Add 208 Grand Street to the list of for-sale inventory in Williamsburg. StreetEasy shows six one-bedroom units that hit the market last week (though DOB filings show that seven residential units were filed for) and signage in the ground-floor window indicates a commercial space for rent. StreetEasy shows six one-bedroom units that hit the market last week (though DOB filings show that seven residential units were filed for) and signage in the ground-floor window indicates a commercial space for rent. We suspect these will be a tough sell though: The Radusky-designed building is hardly a winner from the outside (and no interior pics are posted yet) and the 600-sqaure-foot apartments are priced north of $400,000. Tough to see how they get any deals done at that level. GMAP
Hardly a winner???!!
It’s got chrome mud-flap Fedders covers!
Too small, but cheap, for that side of the BQE… they should sell to the kids who can’t afford the more expensive places, but really want to buy in W’burg.
“One pays a designer for this?”
No. A developer pays a compliant architect to stamp the drawings and keep their mouth shut about design.
The owner/developer of this property is one of the people who cried loudest when Grand Street was rezoned. I wonder if he is happy or sad that he doesn’t have more of these to unload.

like pretty much everything else in N Brooklyn: this building looks much better in the dark when you’re intoxicated.
Yawn, 2 room special….2 small closets,
horrible.
