Rental of the Day: 832 Hicks Street

Looks like the condo units at new development 832 Hicks Street in Red Hook did not go over too well. Now the building has gone rental, and this unit is asking $1,995 a month for three bedrooms and two bathrooms. (Prices go up to $2,895 a month for three bedrooms.) The ask on this unit isn’t bad at all for new construction, but the condo units were priced fairly reasonably too. What do you think kept these units from selling? Will the rentals prove more attractive?
