Jazz-era details and unusual features such as solid-marble tubs and bike closets got readers’ attention this week.

Our most viewed listings included a spacious townhouse in Bed Stuy, a ’30s-era apartment in Manhattan’s Inwood neighborhood, and a Park Slope one-bedroom with large archways and high ceilings in close proximity to Prospect Park.

Which would you choose?

10. First up is a duplex in Bed Stuy. The three-bedroom, two-bath unit appears to occupy the parlor and garden floors of a three-story row house. The renovated kitchen has stainless steel appliances and no shortage of counters and cupboards. There is a backyard, in-unit washer and dryer, and a jacuzzi tub. There is also private access to storage in the cellar.

9. In Park Slope, we find a large apartment with arched entries, parquet floors and five closets. The unit has two exposures and the bedroom is tucked down a hallway from the living and dining areas for maximum privacy. Located in a doorman building, it is a block from Prospect Park and within walking distance of iconic Brooklyn institutions, including the Brooklyn Botanical Garden and the Brooklyn Public Central Library.

8. This find is in Manhattan in the little area of Washington Heights often referred to as Hudson Heights. A nicely proportioned apartment, this one features a large dining foyer leading to a sunken living room. Some of the original hardware has survived in the bathroom, and lovely chevron-patterned hardwood floors extend throughout the main spaces. The building is sited on a corner, allowing for multiple exposures in some units and boasts a part-time doorman. It is near a small shopping and dining stretch and an easy walk to the Cloisters.

7. At 1985a Pacific Street in Crown Heights North, we’ve got a flip, gut renovated. It’s a four-story with a five-bedroom duplex up top and a second duplex below, which has a master bedroom, open kitchen and living room on the upper floor and a bunch of windowless space below designated as a rec room and office/storage space. There’s a garden in back and parking space in front.

6. This graciously proportioned apartment in Flatbush has all the hallmarks of 1930s apartments in New York. Our favorite features include the sunken living room and large entry foyer with a built-in niche with shelves. There is also an eat-in kitchen and a lot of closet space. The six-story apartment building is located a few blocks from Brooklyn College, the Brooklyn Center for the Performing Arts, and Target.

5. In the Crown Heights North Historic District at 1349 Pacific Street, this 1878 brownstone is graceful and quite lovely, with plenty of original detail and modern updates. Designed by noted 19th century Brooklyn architect Amzi Hill, it’s got five working fireplaces with fetching carved marble mantels, pocket doors and shutters, inlaid floors, stained glass, moldings and medallions, all in fine condition.

4. On Pioneer Street in Red Hook we’ve got a rustic charmer with beamed ceilings, wide-plank floors and a pair of wood-burning fireplaces. There’s a two-bedroom duplex with a terrace on the top two floors; below that is an open floor with a kitchen and bath that’s currently used as a home office and guest space, but could be a rental unit. There’s a garage in the rear accessible via a private alley, which is “big enough for a car and a workshop,” or could serve some other purpose. Roof and high-efficiency boiler/hot water heater are new.

3. Abutting Fort Greene Park, at 203 Washington Park, we’ve got a five-story townhouse with a two-bedroom owner’s duplex on the bottom two floors and three apartments above. The duplex was thoroughly renovated in 2005 in a modern style, with walls of glass in the rear and radiant-heated concrete floors. There’s a salt-water hot tub in the rear garden, so that’s an uncommon perk, and quite a nice one. There are no photos of the rest of the house, so condition/appearance there is an open question.

2. In Park Slope on 7th Street, we’ve got a narrow (16 feet) four-story townhouse with a center staircase that’s been nicely and thoroughly renovated. Some nice detail in this one, including five fireplaces and a lovely stained glass fan window in the front parlor. It’s set up as a one-family, with the marble-floored kitchen on the garden level and five bedrooms on the top two floors. The basement is finished; there’s a backyard sprinkler system, alarm, bike closet, integrated audio system and a two-zoned heating and cooling system. Note the solid marble bathtubs in two of the bathrooms — from India, according to the listing.

1. The listing for this five-bedroom triplex — in a brownstone at 382 Park Place in Prospect Heights — offers only two interior shots, but they present a pretty compelling vision.

There’s an airy and inviting front parlor with high ceilings, parquet floors, moldings, a double-wide stained-glass window transom, and an entry bench and mirror.

Then there’s a homey beaut of a kitchen in the rear, with a hanging pot rack, butcher block counters and backsplash with handmade pottery tiles. (In a refreshing departure from current orthodoxy, the appliances are, gasp, white instead of stainless steel.)
