Another vote of confidence for the Williamsburg residential marketor at least that portion close to the Bedford L stop. The NForth (a former Brownstoner advertiser) has sold 60% of its condos in 12 weeks, according to The Developers Group. The building has four stories and 37 residences, designed by Karl Fischer with equally pervasive designer Andres Escobar handling the interiors. The usual luxury amenities apply: lounge, gym, and “landscaped common backyard with stone waterfall feature.” Sounds nice. Anybody bought, or just looked, here? GMAP
I was at the open house last week. The building is really very nice, and seems to be well built. Units are selling quickly. Building is just the right size ( 37 Units ) and the iterior designer did a great job. the rear yard was done especially well.
Hi everybody!
i have a contract on this building;for a studio
-The outside is nice ,all are agree.
-Most of the units are south facing with huge (wall)window.
-The location is perfect ,few walks from the subway (the next station is manhattan !)
-The area seems nice
-The price is not so crazy
-The maint seems to be low
i have seen many other condo;i chose this one
I have a contract signed on one of the duplexes in this building. I’m a fan of the building; inside and out. Two floors and over a thousand square feet right in Williamsburg isn’t bad. For the price, I can’t find anything like it.
I also looked at Northside Piers, which offered me half the square footage and a kitchen in the living room for the same price. The construction in the area for the next decade will ruin any view available.
Warehouse 11 has views of buildings surrounded by litter and graffiti. Thus, NForth was a no-brainer.
Everyone here will have different opinions on it. Cheap interiors, poor lounge area, etc. Different strokes for different folks. I can’t wait to move in.
hello all, long time listener, first time caller. I checked out the building and would say the finishes are on par with pretty much everything else that is out there, aside from the EDGE which is ridiculously high end. As for the “boring” backyard patio, I found it to be the nicest of any building with a similar back area that is shared/private. It’s actually quite large and quite nice.
thanks maratl2….if the interior is as blah as angelfish says…too much
point taken, slick– I agree with the general consensus that the exterior of this building is nicer than most new developments. Just compare it with Suite 16, another Fischer project. But you live on the inside, not the outside… why can’t they ever get it right? Grumble.
how often do you hear “the outside is better than the inside” in new construction?
The outside is better than the inside, IMO. And why always these square sinks??? Those little corners would be hard to clean.
When they were building it, they couldn’t be bothered to erect the fence properly. I still don’t understand how someone can build multi-million dollar condos and not bother learning how to make a fence. They completely obstructed the corner of N4th and Driggs for at least six months.
