A reader wants to keep on friendly terms with a neighbor but his habit of feeding local cats and birds is proving tough to ignore. The sidewalks are soiled every day with bird droppings and the cats, looking for a grassy spot, creep into the reader’s yard, turning it into a litter box. If talking to the neighbor doesn’t work, what can they do?
