We noticed a couple of “Under the Radar” houses for sale on Halsey Street this weekend. The house on the left is at 556 Halsey and is listed by Ranmarine Realty at 718-846-4100. The house on the right is at 360 Halsey and is being sold by Today’s International Real Estate at 718-789-6122. Anyone feel like giving them a call and finding out how they’re priced?

  1. 352 Halsey – just down the street from 360 Halsey and part of the same row of houses – was on the market earlier in the summer listed w/ Massey & Knackal with a $625K asking price. It went into contract within days. It was in MUCH better condition… it was cared for immaculately and the structure and mechanicals looked to be in perfect shape.

    I also saw 360 earlier in the summer and if you ask me, it is waaaaaaaaaay overpriced for its condition. This row of houses is relatively small – built in the 30s and much more modest than the brownstones on the same street. There are much better properties to be had on Halsey.

  2. Considered buying 556 back in February. Recall the price back then was about the same as the current ask. There was an existing tenant back then. Abandoned printshoop next door woould make a great garage!

  3. Ranmarine Realty is a house of Characters. Good Grief, after holding a while I listened to them shuffling through what sounded like a garbage bin of papers, the broker finally came back to the phone and told me this. 556 Halsey, 2 Family, $669K and Negotiable. He also said ” there’s a contract on it, but it’s not too good” what ever that means.

    360 Halsey is also priced @ $669K. Two family with 3 apartments. It’s between Marcus Garvey & Throop.
