houseWe’re not sure where exactly in Crown Heights this is, but the house certainly looks interesting at only $629,000. The 1899 2-family, 4-story townhouse has a great looking wooden porch as well as a 3-car garage. From the picture on the Eva Daniels site, there appear to be some very nice original parquet floors, moldings and doors too. This should move fast, don’t you think?

  1. I live here and a car is definitely not a necessity. We take the train/bus all the time and save money on gas, car insurance, etc. We walk to Park Slope. I beg to differ about the area’s location to the city. It is defintely close. It’s 40 minutes to midtown, I don’t think that is too bad. The A/C trains are right there. Crown Heights may be “overpriced,” however, I think spending millions in other parts of Brooklyn is really difficult. Some people just don’t have millions to spend. It’s what you can afford and there aren’t many 600K houses around. I guess it’s easy to judge from the outside.

  2. Don’t you all think Crown heights is way over priced. That house is certainly not worth 629k, seems to me that it needs alot of work on the outside and maybe inside , too. And who cares about buildable lots, doesn’t anyone like, um having a driveway???? This nabe is not close to the city at all, a car is a necessity there.

  3. when i say i live here i mean i live in the house. sooo..i think i’m correct in saying it was sold 2 months ago. they haven’t closed yet. we’re renting and the owner grew up here..blah blah blah. baby in the boiler..uh don’t think so.
