New Bike Parking on Fulton
The city has installed a bike parking corral on Fulton Street between St. James and Cambridge, right in front of Fulton Bike shop. Hopefully there won’t be any of the controversy that surrounded a similar set-up on Franklin Avenue last year!

I’m no fighter for on-street car parking, but I don’t really understand why this rack had to be placed in the street, when there’s plenty of room on the sidewalk. Unless it’s in preparation for eventually being used for Citi Bike.
LOL!! You added this:

Fanning the fire on the blog
Grow up and get a car!
and pay to park on the street via the muni meters!
no thanks! hahahahhhahahhahaha sucka!!
I doubt there will ever be 10 bikes ‘parked’ there at the same time.
There’s already a bike rack on that very stretch of sidewalk, between two trees, making it somewhere nobody would ever walk. It wouldn’t be in the way of anything. This is one case where we could have a bike rack AND retain car parking. It need not always be a zero-sum game.
i store my bike on a bike rack in my bldgs garage – like a human being
why don’t you store your personal property (bike) hanging on the wall over your sofa like other morons!
