About five months ago the condo project at 66 North 1st Street was relaunched after imploding during its first attempt amidst the bursting real estate bubble. In February, the studios, one- and two-bedrooms were listed from $415,000 to $715,000. Looks like seven nine listings out of the 21 units have since gone into contract, according to StreetEasy. Prices have since dropped a bit to $405,000 for a studio, and the highest price for a now in-contract three-bedroom was dropped to $880,000 from $995,000. (Update: We’ve been told there are actually nine units in contract, not seven, and Streeteasy has not yet been updated.)

I really wished they left the brick down near street level. Luckily, you can’t really see the penthouse tumor from the sidewalk unless you’re really looking for it.
Thanks, Maly! I’m fixing now to reflect that price.
FYI, Streeteasy has the 3-bedroom listing going in contract after the price was reduced to $880,000 (of course it doesn’t mean the contract isn’t higher or lower.)
