The most popular listings on Brownstoner this week include a quirky Carroll Gardens condo, a co-op overlooking the Brooklyn Heights Promenade and a Prospect Lefferts Gardens limestone brimming with original detail.

While there are a couple of popular listings in Brooklyn Heights this week, most were scattered across the borough. The least expensive listing is the Carroll Gardens condo at $875,000 and the most expensive is an unusual Park Slope townhouse for $7.495 million.

Which would you choose?

10. This two-family Prospect Heights brownstone needs work, and maybe a fair amount of it, but it could polish up into something nice. It’s at 552 Carlton Avenue in the Prospect Heights Historic District. The circa 1877 brownstone was designed by the Parfitt Brothers. It’s got an upper duplex over a one-bedroom garden rental.

9. Here’s an above-average one-bedroom with six big windows and dual exposures on the 20th floor, which makes for some pretty impressive views that incorporate the harbor and the skyline. It’s in the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce building at 75 Livingston Street, an Art Deco number built in 1927. The apartment offers 1,065 square feet, and it’s bright and attractive.

8. Here’s a stunner of a duplex co-op, housed on the upper floors of an 1860 Italianate townhouse at 138 Columbia Heights in Brooklyn Heights. The rear of the house overlooks the promenade, which makes for some killer views of the harbor and the Manhattan skyline; combine that with elegant detail and generous spaces and it makes for a winning package.

7. This home is in Ocean Hill, on Herkimer Street between Saratoga and Howard Avenues. There we find a newly constructed single-family townhouse with a brick façade. (It’s “reclaimed brick,” according to the listing.) Reasonably nice as these things go, it’s got an open plan bottom floor with a glass wall in the rear, with a sleek kitchen with white-lacquered cabinets.

6. Here’s a newly renovated Crown Heights brick standalone that’s pretty nice as flips go, with some restored original moldings and woodwork. It’s at 199 Sullivan Place, on the nabe’s southern end. It’s a two-family with an unorthodox floor plan. The owner’s unit incorporates the ground floor, a finished basement and the rear half of the top floor.

5. Here’s a Carroll Gardens condo with a loft-like feel that’s a “rare treat for a creative soul,” according to the listing. To put that another way, the unit — one of 12 in a former milk factory at 395 Smith Street — has some quirks, which some will find charming, others less so. It’s a duplex, with a lower level that’s partially below grade, and not exactly flooded with sunlight.

4. Here’s some eye candy for you — and an unusual property. At 77 Prospect Place in Park Slope, it’s a striking, light-filled modern townhouse, designed in 2004 by Baumann Architects, that encompasses and extends a 1890s carriage house. The renovation added a top floor with an open “great room,” and it’s a stunner of a space, with open wood and steel beams and 12-foot ceilings.

3. In Bushwick, we’ve got a newly renovated two-story brick house on Putnam Avenue, which was built in 2005. It’s got an apartment on each floor and a finished basement that’s duplexed with the lower unit. It’s a deep one, at 19 feet by 60 feet, allowing for 30-foot living rooms. It’s not brimming with charm, but it’s in good shape and move-in ready.

2. Here’s a semi-detached wood frame three-story on Huntington Street in Red Hook, which looks a bit drab with its flat, aluminum-sided facade and utilitarian interior, though it looks to be in good condition. Measuring 20 feet by 40, it’s got a unit on each floor, with a pair of two-bedroom units above and a small ground floor studio.

1. In Prospect Lefferts Gardens we find a limestone with a barrel front on Maple Street. The Axel Hedman-designed house has been on the market for a while, and we featured it as a House of the Day over a year ago; the price has been cut nearly $500,000 since then. A fair amount of space and some choice detail in this one, including intricate crown moldings, four mantels and moldings.
