This week, a quick trip back to the sunny days of June to take a look at four of our featured listings.
This week, a quick trip back to the sunny days of June to take a look at four of our featured listings and see how they fared.
First, a sprawling Park Slope one-family Romanesque Revival brownstone dating to 1893, rich in original detail that’s been thoroughly renovated and restored. Plus, it’s in the Park Slope Historic District. This former House of the Day is still available for the original asking price.
After that, a Ditmas Park Edwardian with a ton of space, some fetching details and a sweet wraparound porch. Dating back to 1903, it’s in the Ditmas Park Historic District, at 444 East 17th Street, at the corner of Ditmas Avenue. This former House of the Day is still available, for $420,000 less than the initial asking price.
Next up, a condo that veers off the beaten path. If you’re bored with exposed brick and ceiling beams and cookie-cutter finishes, take a gander at this South Slope duplex, whose interior design looks to have been inspired by Gaudí, or maybe Lewis Carroll. It’s at 372 15th Street in the Park Pavilion condos, one of three buildings with a combined 30 units, constructed in 2003. This former Condo of the Day is still available for the original asking price.
And, finally, we find a brick, carriage-style house on King Street in Red Hook. It’s cozy and distinctive, with some interesting features, including a garage space that’s currently used as an art studio, a steel and oak staircase, a living room with 14-foot ceilings and a polished-concrete floor, a mezzanine-level laundry room, a treehouse-style master bedroom with a terrace on the top level. This former Open House Pick sold in August for $12,000 less than the initial asking price.
