This week we’re looking back at four listings we featured six months ago to see how they fared. All the properties have been taken off the market, with no documented sales. Two are in contract.

First up, at 25 feet wide this Greek Revival at 24 Schermerhorn Street in Brooklyn Heights — formerly a House of the Day — is quite the grand one-family home, with nearly 4,000 square feet spread over four floors. It’s been renovated — most floors are new, though some old wide-plank ones remain — but maintains original details including moldings and eight fireplaces. The winding center staircase is new, joists and headers have been reinforced, and there’s central air.

The home entered contract in May and was last listed for $6.799 million.

This fully detached single-family, at 1427 Glenwood Road in West Midwood — previously a House of the Day — needs a few updates, but it’s got some wonderful features and a ton of space. With three stories and six bedrooms, it’s 25 feet wide and sits on a 50-by-105-foot lot, so square footage is not in short supply. The bottom floor has got some fetching detail — note the coffered ceiling, columns and inlaid floors in the living room, and especially the curved wooden window benches that bracket the brick fireplace.

The property was taken off the market in August and was last listed for $1.85 million.

This two-bedroom, two-bath former Condo of the Day is part of The Waterfalls on Ocean condominium located at 1138 Ocean Avenue in Ditmas Park. The condo has a modern feel and an open layout. The spacious living room and dining room area features oversized windows and a large private terrace. The kitchen is updated with stainless steel appliances including a dishwasher, and the granite peninsula adds extra counter space.

The home entered contract in July and was last listed for $825,000.

Last up, on East 26th Street in Flatbush we’ve got a former Open House Pick, a three-story with three units, all newly renovated, which is being pitched as an “excellent investment opportunity.” The units range from two to four bedrooms; the bottom one is duplexed with the finished basement via a circular staircase. The listing claims “an abundant amount of the original detail remains throughout,” though not much screams out from the photos.

The property was taken off the market in April.
