St. Nicholas-Harman Street-church-sale

A Williamsburg developer purchased the building belonging to the Romanian Church of God of Ridgewood, as well as an adjacent residence, located at the corner of St. Nicholas Avenue and Harman Street. (The location is technically in Brooklyn, one block away from the borough line.) According to Wyckoff Heights, the property spent about a year on the market asking $1,399,000. It sold for $1,600,000.

The church was built in 1917. The buyer, Noam Amos of Home Zone/SNY Group, is now constructing new buildings at 257 Jefferson Street and 186 Greenpoint Avenue in Brooklyn. It’s probably safe to say, expect a tear down here soon…
