Yeah, you don’t know what the third world looks like. Because, seriously, it looks worse than that.
This building looks bad because it just plain old looks bad. I was never a fan of that color brick either and I’m sure a lot of people feel the same. Just looks cheap and pretty bad after awhile. A straight-edged, pink Flintstone vitamin color building surrounded by grey concrete on all sides and accented with bright white window trims and black metal bars all around is just not appealing to the eye. It’s actually kind of depressing and all around uninspired.
What gets me is how plain the insides are of the apartments, and the asking price. Definitely a sign that Jackson Heights will soon be outrageously pricey.
