Listing of the Day: 240-40 Pine Street

Here’s a sprawling country home at 240-40 Pine Street in Douglaston. Front porch, large grassy yards, driveway and garage — it’s all there. Our problem is with what waits inside. The interior needs upgrading, and we’d imagine a buyer would want to rid the home of the carpet and dated wallpaper. There also aren’t any photos of the kitchen. All this makes $1,200,000 seem like a very high asking price. What is your take?
