Golden Dragon Acrobats – There is a reason why the Golden Dragon Acrobats have been called today’s premier Chinese acrobatic touring company—their show combines stunning displays of acrobatics with theater-like flair, with a lot of dance, music and costumes added to the mix. They performed to sell-out crowds in December and now they return to Queens Theater with not just a new cast, but also new acts that promise to thrill and awe. The show, which starts on Saturday, promises to be an exciting one for all ages, so bring your family along to this fantastic performance that applauds the human form.

The Astoria Park Shore Fest will see Shore Boulevard, adjacent to Astoria Park, completely devoid of cars and will instead be filled with a number of fun activities to entertain both the adults and children who want to have some fun. With local music acts, theater shows and even a pet parade–yes, your furry friends are also invited–this is one festival you don’t want to miss on Sunday.
