Closing Bell: New Sunnyside Map Coming Soon

Next week, the Sunnyside Shines Business Improvement District and the Sunnyside Chamber of Commerce are launching a new map of Sunnyside which will publicize the neighborhood to visitors and new residents. The launch party is scheduled for Wednesday, October 2nd at Bar 43. The map is the result of a design competition at LaGuardia Community College — it contains the winning artwork from LaGuardia student Carmen Zhu. The map artwork was combined with a business directory and advertisements from local Sunnyside businesses. It will be distributed at Long Island City hotels, local real estate offices and community events. It’ll also be available for free next week at the launch party. Event details here.
