Neighborhood Photo Essays

We’re going to be out of town the first week of January and want to use that time to run five days of neighborhood photo blogs. We’ve already got someone lined up to do Bushwick, but we’re looking for a volunteer for each of the following nabes: Sunset Park, Crown Heights, Greenwood Heights and Vinegar Hill. Each volunteer would prepare 10 or 12 photos accompanied by some light text to tell their personalized story of a given area. (“Here’s the bakery where I buy bread every Saturday morning” or “I love the gargoyles on this old convent–they remind me of…”). If you’re interested, please email us in the next 24 hours. We’ll need submissions by Monday, December 19.
