ch houseOn May 1st, Clinton Hill opens its doors. The sculpture garden at the Pratt Institute and nine houses, some with gardens, will be open for a tour from noon to 5 p.m. The residences include a brownstone with a view of Manhattan, a full-floor master bedroom and a new kitchen with maple cabinets, concrete countertops and a cork floor; an 1882 Romanesque-revival corner house decorated with antique furniture and artworks by the owner; and a neo-Italian Renaissance house entered through a wisteria-draped colonnade, with a cherry wood staircase and stained glass windows by John LaFarge. Tickets, $25, at 320 Washington Avenue (between Lafayette and DeKalb Avenues). Advance tickets, $20, and information: (866) 273-5065. Chances are, we’re going to be in the delivery room with Mrs. B, so if anyone wants to volunteer to report back to us (and take some photos, if possible), we’d really appreciate it.
