I know the building on Remsen, the apartments are large, and they maintain the building very nicely. Approximately 610 a sq ft. If the apt. is on a high floor I can see the price. It’s the location, and you have better transportation than most nabes. The kent
doesn’t seem to be a buy when you compare the two properties.
Most of the State Street condos have been sold for a while. I imagine that they’re just starting to close.
Second sale in 556 State Street (the new “Boerum Heights” development) listed on the site in 3 days (see May 2 posting). What’s up with the high number of sales there?
The Bed-Stuy one looks cool, but yeah, there are like 3000 units of public housing all up in your grill right there. That said, there are probably pretty great views from here and it’s close to the G, for whatever that’s worth.
They are on Kent, between Willoughby and Dekald – two blocks east of Classon Avenue.
11:40, between Willoughby and DeKalb. I thought the apartments looked okay when they were first marketed, but didn’t want to live a half-block away from Lafayette Gardens. Without knowing what unit this is, I would guesstimate around 20 percent appreciation in four years … seems that this locations isn’t going up in value as fast as more desirable spots.
Where are those Kent Ave. condos? Near the Clinton Hill border?
