Last time I was in the Lowe’s Pitkin was in the late 1950’s to see the movie Tingler. As I remember, it was an awesome place to see a movie.
Looks wonderful! Thanks again for featuring a renovation occuring outside of the brownstone belt.
I think this is an excellent reuse of a great building. Hopefully some of the interior decor can be repurposed or saved off site, or something. That will take some creativity, but I can see them using a few elements in the auditorium.
Anyhow, Brownsville needs new investment, new schools, so this looks like a great project to me. I hope we get updates.
