faint tapping sound behind bathroom shower wall

Hi: i been hearing a faint tapping sound behind the shower wall; not all the time; but lately more often;
it taps 3 times stops for could seconds and taps again generally 3 taps.

definitely hot water pipe expanding when you turn it on… short of cutting open the walls and expanding the space where the pipes come through the framing there is nothing that you can do

We hear that when the water is running somelace else in the hosue.Usually around shower time forthe kids (since we’re not the ones in the shower). Sometimes when the washer is filling in the bsmt
