Soil Removal
We have generated around 2-3 yards of soil from a backyard renovation project where we installed a new patio and corrected the grade so water drains appropriately. I don’t know what to do with this waste as no companies are willing to remove it for me. I should also note, that it is too much to slowly do over time through regular trash pickups and I would prefer to pay someone to grab it in one fell swoop. Does anyone have any experience with this problem that can recommend a solution?
Worst case scenario I was thinking of renting a small dump truck and hiring a few day laborers to help me remove it and then dumping it at Atlas Rolloff (still waiting for a quote and if they would even accept it.) Anyone have better ideas if I can’t find someone to take my cold-hard cash to do it for me?

I found myself in this situation and i put it in bags and put a few bags out in the trash each day for a long time. to prevent overloading the bags, i doubled them up and put them in a 5 gallon pail and filled to the top of the pail. i have the luxury of having an alley behind my house and was able to put them there for sanitation.
a few years ago, i had to do this again when we poured a concrete pad. the soil i removed was actually really good dark soil. no clay or sand. i posted a picture of it on our local facebook page hoping to give it away. no takers. but if you have good top soil and can find someone who needs it, it can be a real good opportunity for both of you.
