What termite treatments have you done to your house and what seems to have worked?<\/p>\n
We have talked to two outfits and these seem to be the options:
\n-drilling 3 holes into each beam end and putting some sort of syrup substance into E V E R Y to create a wall of defense
-drilling holes in the floors along the foundation walls, filling with something (called phantom??) and sealing the hole, this is for both inside the house and outside.
-spraying boracare inside all walls, floor and beams – everywhere
-sealing all the concrete walls & floors (not for water issue in this case but to close up holes?)<\/p>
The tactic seems to be create a wall of defense with all these numerous holes all round the house. It is NOT cheap and I wonder if there is anyway to figure out what is overkill.
