Hi there Brownstoners,
\nI have a question. I am new to Bed-Stuy and have a 2 family. I have a rubber roof and when the home was inspected, I was told to hae the flashing around the skylights and chimmeny done again. We closed in March and with the rain we had this weekend and today, I have leaks around 2 skylights! YIKES! I am in the middle of renovation the upper apartment and the seiling is open to the rafters and the floor is open to the joists so we were ablr to see it and catch it before we closed everything up and got someone in.<\/p>\n
My question is does anyone have any idea what flashing repair\/maintanence costs? I am tapped out of money and based on some of the orums I’ve seen for costs of rubber roofs, I am gathering $500 or so for 3 sklylights and the chimmeny? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.<\/p>\n
