To get the old frame out to the curb, we had to pry it apart (it&#8217;s unusable now).  What we have left is the head and foot pieces which are poly-ed birch and the solid platform that goes under a twin mattress.  For someone who is a carpenter (or knows one) it could make a nice bed again.  It has some scratches&#8230;..it&#8217;s not new&#8230;.but served her well for many years.
