Unfortunately, the parlor floor hallway is not ducted, nor is the kitchen on the 2nd floor tenant&#8217;s unit. Since the bathroom is accessed by traversing the hall, it has become a cold journey! The HVAC folks we use suggested not venting these areas, due to the added duct work being prohibitively expensive. Rather, they suggest a wall-mounted unit of some kind for the kitchen, and a baseboard-like unit for the hallway, or perhaps a floor-mounted electric unit.  All with separate thermostats.  Thoughts?
